Reprogram Please
My classmate’s mother worked as a telephone operator for almost 30 days in a multi-national company. For every call that came in, she had to announce the company name followed by “Good Morning” or “Good Afternoon”. One day, I made a call to my friend’s house but was greeted by the normal company operator’s greetings. So I quickly apologised and hung up the phone. I called again. My friend answered the call giggling and said
“Oh, that was my mum just now. Still thought she’s the company operator”
Well, she’ll need to reprogram her standard greeting!
