Gong Xi Fa Cai
Gong Xi Fa Cai!
My pot of Kawai is now ready to help usher in the Year of the Rooster this Chinese New Year.
This year, it seems to grow at a faster rate than last year’s! Probably the kawai (arrow head) bulbs were bigger and more fresh. In fact I had to transplant a few kawai bulbs into another pot as they were fighting for breathing space
If it continues to grow this way, I could end up having 3 pots of kawai (arrow head)
However, the important point to note is to diligently change the water twice a day to keep the water clean and not create a breeding place for mosquitoes!
This will also ensure having a healthy green kawai plant to brighten up your decoration and last throughout the 15 days of Chinese New Year.
Gong Xi Gong Xi here’s wishing everyone good health and happiness, peace and prosperity in the Year of the Golden Rooster.
