“Old” Meets “New”
Many a times, the hypermarket can prove to be more than just a place to shop if you just stand back a little to tune in your observation feelers 
We were browsing thru the fruits section in the hypermarket when my husband called my attention to a group of ladies. Obviously it was a chance encounter of long lost friends as was apparent from their facial expressions, gestures and excited exchange of words. 
What intrigued us was not the meeting drama but rather the contrasting modes or gadgets they were using to record one another’s contact details. The younger one flipped out the state of the art technology 3G mobile to key in the particulars 
while the elderly one faithfully stick to her little “notebook” (the traditional paper one) and pen to record the information.
It was truly a classic meeting of the Old & the New!
